3:30 - Understanding California’s Newly Enacted Statewide Rent Control Bill: How Does It Impact Our Industry?
California recently passed one of the strongest, most extreme “tenant protection” bills in the country. It is estimated the bill will impact about 4.6 million households statewide. Although referred to as a “rent control” bill, it not only limits rent increases, it imposes and requires “just cause” grounds for eviction, as well as relocation payments.
Please join our panel of experts to better understand and assess how to navigate the pitfalls of this new legislation.
